We will try to keep this listing as up-to-date as possible, but please check with Pam Gipson-Beaty at the e-mail address listed above for availability of a particular class donation. If you are interested in donating to the general Trophy fund, that is also more than welcome, these funds will support the trophies not specifically donated by individuals.

Trophies for each event are listed below. All embroidered items will have the ACDCA National logo on them

Puppy Sweepstakes
Sweepstakes Classes are for young dogs (6 to 18 months) and are judged on the conformation of the entries against a written standard for the "perfect specimen of the breed". Class placing are cash prizes based on a percentage of the entry fees for that class.

Conformation
The conformation classes are judged against the written breed standard for the "perfect specimen of the breed" and is open to all ages from 6 months on up. These are the classes where championship points are awarded. To be selected Best of Breed is indeed an honor, an award that the Australian Cattle Dog Club of America bestows only once a year. Selection of Best of Opposite, Best of Winners, Winners Dog and Bitch and the Awards of Merit are also highly sought after.

Obedience
Obedience Classes test the dogs ability to perform prescribed obedience exercises at three levels of difficulty. These classes are scored against a "theoretically perfect" performance score of 200 points.

Herding
Herding is based on the instincts bred into our breed, with performance judged on moving stock through a prescribed course, based on levels of training. Since ours is a working breed, this area is especially important to owners and breeders. Four seperate Trials are held at the National Specialty.
