Committee Objectives and Goals:
The Historian's job is to collect memorabilia to add to the archives collection.
The Historian is the guardian of the Club's Archives, to keep a list, preserve them, and display them for the membership whenever possible.

Essential Committee Functions:  The Historian is responsible to collect the memorabilia from club members.
To go on line several times a year to ask if anyone has anything of interest to contribute.
To ask authors of new books on ACD's to donate a copy.
To collect information from each National Specialty, including Pictures of winners, a Catalog and a T-Shirt.

We have a history going back to 1968, when a small group of people decided to form a Club to try to get our breed recognized by the American Kennel Club.  We were recognized in 1980.  I will be updating the Archives as necessary.
